Sports Coach Case Study: Elise

Elise is now a qualified Level 4 Sports Coach after completing end-point assessment (EPA) with Elite Awarding. Elise achieved a distinction grade for the Sport Coach qualification.

Elise has kindly agreed to share her story to help calm the nerves of future apprentices getting ready for EPA. Elise was employed by Time4Sport and her training provider was Aspire Training Solutions.

Q1) What did you do to prepare for EPA?

Answer: “In preparation for my EPA, I used the toolkits sent out to me, this allowed me to plan responses, sessions and align my project with the criteria set out.”

Q2) Provide us with a brief summary about your work-based report? What did you focus on and how did you find it?

Answer: “My work-based report was based on Female Empowerment in School Sports and PE. This is an area I have always been passionate about. I really enjoyed completing my project, and it has had lasting impact within the school. It is so rewarding to see young girls getting involved and becoming more confident in sports as a result of my project.”
